Dopamine is a Neurotransmitter it plays a several key role in the brain and body that it is one of the chemicals which is responsible for transmitting signals between the nerve cells in the brain these also called neuron .Dopamine is a Feel good or Happy Harmone and it is able to give a pleasure a sense of reward and therefore motivation to do something.

Dopamine effects has in humans and in our daily lives.Our Brain provides priorities in large part based on how much dopamine its expecting to get. If an activity releases too little dopamine you won't have much motivation to do it. But if an activity releases a lot of dopamine you will be motivated to repeat it over and over. Any activity where you anticipate there's a potential reward releases it. But if you know there are no immediate rewards with the behavior like studying. Our brain won't releases it much dopamine so people won't show interest in it. We people always encourage immediate rewards.
For example : Before you eat comfort food your brain releases dopamine because you Anticipate that the food will make you feel good even if it actually makes you feel worse . That's because our brain doesn't care if the high dopamine activity is damaging to you it just wants more of it .

The thing is that the brain is hardwired to seek out the behaviors that release dopamine in the reward system that is why Addiction is a thing. Dopamine always rewards you to making you feel good so because we seek and thats why Cocaine,Heroin,liqour,Weed and Sugar are More Addictive . Cocaine itself is not responsible for making you feel good its only a Trigger that releases massive amount of dopamine into our brain which by extension is why you feel like a hyper active person as a result it may also freeze the medulla oblangata for a limited amount of time.
A stereotypical example would be someone who's a Drug addict . He knows what he's doing is not good for him. But all he wants to get more of that drug. Besides getting you high cocaine and heroin releases unnatural amounts of dopamine which in turns makes you crave them even more . Of course it has to be noticed that nearly everything releases some amount of dopamine .Even drinking water when you're thirsty does. But the dopamine release happens when you get a reward randomly . Experts scanned two persons Brain with MRI Scan One person consumed cocaine and a another one person who is in lust mood their brain looked exactly same this is because of massive release of Dopamine.

But certainly i dont recommend doing durgs because what happens next is that you will get these high and low that dopamine by doing drugs will deplete the dopamine reserves a mess with your natural production of dopamine this will end result an addiction because when you get dopamine from somewhere else than your natural dopamine production your brain doesn't get the same amount of dopamine from doing normal things like eating or drinking and because of this we will experience mood swings, depression, lack of motivation and etc .
In today digital society we are just flooding our brains with unnaturally high amounts of dopamine on a daily basis even if we don't know it .
Some high dopamine release behaviors like scrolling through social media Websites, Playing video games and watching pornography etc .
Our bodies have a biological system called Homeostasis . It means that our body likes to keep internal physical and chemical conditions at a balanced level whenever imbalance occurs our body adapts to it. But in another way Homeostasis manifests itself and that is through Tolerance.
When someone who rarely drinks alcohol will get drunk really fast. But someone who drinks on a regular basis will have to drink more alcohol because their body has developed a tolerance to it. Essentially it takes more and more alcohol to make them drunk because they've become less sensitive to its effects. Its not much different in dopamine your body tries to maintain homeostasis so it down regulates your dopamine receptors.

Essentially our brain gets used to having high levels of dopamine and those levels become your new normal. Thus you develop a dopamine tolerance. This can be a huge problem the things that don't give you as much dopamine it don't interest you any longer
And it is much more difficult to motivate yourself to do them. They feel boring and less fun because they don't release as much as dopamine compared to the things that do release it in high amounts. That's why people tend to play video games and browse the internet compared to studying and working on the business. Video games makes us feel good and comfortable as they release a lot amount of dopamine Sadly things like working hard or reading books releases it in lower amounts

This is one of the reason why the drug addicts who try to quit have a hard time adjusting to a normal life . Their Dopamine Tolerance gets too high that normal life isn't able to match it and its not just Drug addicts. People who are addicted to video games, Social media or Internet Pornography experience the same thing. Once the Dopamine tolerance gets too high they simply aren't able to enjoy the low dopamine behaviors
When you feel pleasure when you kissing someone that the brain will release a big amount of dopamine release and that's why we feel so amazing when it happens.
There is a system called Reward System in brain this can be found both in Animals and Humans this system is designed to reward you when you are doing things that advances our survival this includes primal behaviors like Eating and Sexual stuff. We know how important dopamine for us how can we improve our dopamine levels in the natural way well first dont take things that increase dopamine unnaturally here's something you can take action you might not know this but caffeine increases dopamine levels not by a lot but if you drink coffee often and in large amounts thus will have negative effects on your dopamine production so being thoughtful of how much you drink will increase your natural production of dopamine things like eating junk food, Playing video games, and watching pornography is all triggers that releases large amount of dopamine so the less you should do the unhealthy things the more easier it will be to do the healthy ones because when you stop your body from dopamine it will start seeking out new things that will release if this is where like jogging, and making important work will benefit you a lot .
Dopamine is able to make you feel a natural high this can be achieved through running or doing exercise because your body will be releasing dopamine naturally understanding that dopamine is responsible for why we do thing is a huge advantage if we act according to reduce our own motivation
Separate yourself from the unnaturally high amount of dopamine or at least expose yourself to it far less frequently. Only then will normal every day low dopamine activities become exciting again you will be able to do them for longer . We are all dopamine addicts to a certain extent and that's a good thing because dopamine motivates us to achieve our goals and improve ourselves and its up to you to decide where you're going to get your dopamine from are you going to get it from the things that don't benefit to you or are you going to get it from working on your long term goals. The Choice is yours !
